At Keensbury Support Services Limited, we take the environment very seriously, we consider the impact of our actions on the environment in everything we do, from the strategy, chemicals to machines we use. As a registered member with Environment Agency for both Lower Tier Waste Carrier and Upper Tier Waste Carrier; we ensure all our waste both the ones we produce ourselves and the ones collected from customer’s premises and disposed correctly and responsibly.
We are committed to operate our business responsibly and endeavour to comply with all legal and any other requirements relating to the protection / conservation of the environment; we aim to build good relationship with all Organisations / Bodies who shares the same objectives.
Our Environmental Policy is in line with the BS-7750 which refers to environmental management system, this defines our policies, practices, objectives and our set targets relating to the environment; it forms the basis and strategy for continuous improvements and development of this policy. Our policy is guided by ISO 14001 standards. We are committed to playing our part in minimising carbon foot-prints and minimising the impact on the environment.

Keensbury Support Services Limited Health and Safety policy endeavours to comply, promote and maintain a safe working environment in line with the Health and Safety At work Act 1974 and ISO OHSAS 18001 standards; we aim to fosters a culture where safety is at the forefront and utmost priority in everything we do as a business.
As an employer, we take Health and Safety of all our employees and clients/customers extremely seriously. Maintaining a safe environment is the responsibility of everyone including all subcontractors and employees, especially management; employees must take reasonable steps and precautions to ensure their personal safety and others is not put at risk at any time and to ensure the workplace is safe.

At Keensbury Support services, 'Quality' is an integral part of everything we do and it's part of our core Business strategy and principles, we are 'Customer' focused. This strategy and principles guides our action to deliver services that are safe, compliant and preferred by our customers; these principles are essential part of achieving our ambition to 'Exceed our Customers Expectations' every time. Our Quality Management Policy is line with the ISO 9001 standards.
We are absolutely determined and committed never to compromise on Quality or Safety, compliant on Laws and Legislations relating to quality of service. This requires everyone in our team including employees and sub-contractors to be engaged and to understand their responsibilities in achieving our quality objectives, we empowered them to take action that will protect our customers and our brand name.

ASBESTOS POLICY STATEMENT
Keensbury Support services Limited acknowledges and understands the potential health hazards exposure to asbestos can cause, as a result we adopt a robust proactive approach to protecting our staff as far as is reasonably practical; this include anyone who is considered likely to disturb or be exposed to asbestos-containing materials.
The hazard associated with working with (ACM) is that when disturbed, asbestos fibres are released. Asbestos Fibres are known to be the cause of asbestosis (asbestos induced
lung fibrosis), mesothelioma (cancer of the pleura or lining of the lung) and bronchogenic lung cancer. It is therefore essential that all legislations and procedures are complied with fully in order to protect everyone.
Keensbury Support Services policy is to use only licensed contractors or sub-contractors for all works associated with notifiable ACM (Asbestos Containing Material) regardless of type or location.
As a company Keensbury Support Service Limited does not work in environment where any asbestos materials are detected, once confirmed we will vacate the premises, seek advice from experts (Approved Asbestos Consultants) and follow their advice and procedures in other to protect our staff along with anyone involved in the project. If we are awarded a contract where asbestos materials are confirmed we will appoint a reputable experienced supplier to deal with the issue(s) or recommend that the client deal with issue(s) before our work can begin.
We will as a company continue to provide training and awareness training which will help keep all employees safe, informed and educated about the dangers / problems coming in direct contact with asbestos can cause.
